Can God’s Word truly change a person’s life?

In a world overflowing with opinions, information, and competing voices, the Bible makes a remarkable claim about itself: it is not merely a collection of ancient writings. Scripture is living, active, and powerful. It not only informs us—it transforms us.

In this message from our series Seeing the World Through a Biblical Lens, we examine Hebrews 3–4 and discover why God’s people in the wilderness failed to enter His promised rest despite hearing His Word. Their story serves as both a warning and an invitation. The problem was not a lack of information. The problem was a lack of faith.

The same challenge confronts us today. God’s Word can illuminate our path, reveal our hearts, expose our struggles, and point us to Christ—but only when we receive it with faith and allow it to shape our lives.
