Wednesday nights are about more than adding another activity to the calendar. They’re an opportunity to slow down in the middle of a busy week, share a meal, build meaningful relationships, and grow together in God’s Word.
This fall, we invite you and your family to Wednesday Nights at SBC at Spicewood Baptist Church. Whether you’ve been part of our church for years, recently moved to the Spicewood area, or are simply looking for a church community where your family can connect and grow, there’s a place for you here.
And it all starts around the table.
Dinner Together at 6:30 PM
Every Wednesday evening begins at 6:30 PM with a church-wide potluck in the Family Life Center Gymnasium.
Bring a dish to share and come enjoy dinner with us!
The meal gives adults, children, families, and friends an opportunity to spend time together before everyone heads to their evening groups. There’s no need to rush through dinner at home before church—bring the family and make Wednesday night dinner part of the experience.
If you’re new, don’t worry about knowing everyone or knowing exactly where to go. Come as you are, grab a plate, find a seat, and let us welcome you.
Something for the Whole Family
After dinner, we’ll split into our various Wednesday night groups for Bible study, conversation, relationships, and age-appropriate activities for children.
Adult Bible Studies
Wednesday Nights at SBC offer adults opportunities to dig deeper into Scripture, ask questions, learn alongside others, and develop meaningful Christian friendships.
Whether you have studied the Bible for decades or are just beginning to explore the Christian faith, we want Wednesday night to be a place where you can learn, participate, and grow.
SBC Kids
While adults participate in their studies, children have a place of their own through SBC Kids.
Our children’s Wednesday night groups are designed to help kids learn about Jesus, understand the Bible, build friendships, and have fun in a welcoming church environment.
We want children to look forward to Wednesday nights—and parents to know that their kids are spending time in a place where they are known, cared for, and encouraged in their faith.
Midweek Community Matters
Life moves quickly. Work schedules, school, sports, commuting, and family responsibilities can make it surprisingly difficult to develop meaningful relationships.
We believe church should help change that.
Wednesday Nights at SBC create space for something many of us need: time together.
Time to share a meal.
Time to have a real conversation.
Time for our children to develop friendships.
Time to open the Bible together.
Time to pray for one another.
Time to become more than people who happen to attend the same church.
Our hope is that Wednesday nights will help people throughout our growing Spicewood community find genuine Christian community and a church family where they can put down roots.
New to Spicewood Baptist Church?
You don’t have to be a member of Spicewood Baptist Church to participate in Wednesday Nights at SBC.
In fact, Wednesday night can be one of the easiest ways to get to know our church.
If you’ve recently moved to Spicewood or the surrounding Highland Lakes area, are looking for a church for your family, or simply want to explore what it means to follow Jesus alongside other people, we’d love for you to join us.
Come for dinner. Meet some people. Let your kids get connected. Try a Bible study.

What Should I Bring?
For the potluck, simply bring a dish to share if you’re able. Then bring your Bible for study—and bring the whole family!
First time coming? We’d much rather have you join us than worry about bringing the perfect potluck dish.
