Ed grew up mainly on the West Coast. He attended and earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees at Corban University, Denver Baptist Bible College, and Faith Theological Seminary. Ed has been involved in full-time Christian Ministry for over 35 years. He has served as a Bible Camp Director, Youth Minister, and Senior Pastor. He coached high school sports for 20 years, served as a Law Enforcement Chaplain, is the founder of Impact Guatemala, a short-term mission trip opportunity, and is currently on the Executive Team of the Burnet Llano Counties Baptist Association.

With Angela, he has served at Spicewood Baptist since 2015. Together they enjoy Bible study, couples counseling, mission trips, backpacking, motorcycle trips, and time with their children and grandchildren.

Ed’s emphasis is on teaching God’s Word and pursuing God’s Vision for Spicewood Baptist Church.
