Seeing the World Through a Biblical Lens
What shapes the way you see the world?
Every day, we are influenced by culture, media, politics, education, personal experiences, and popular opinion. But as followers of Christ, God has called us to see life through the truth of His Word rather than through the constantly changing ideas of the world around us.
In this message, we continue our series Seeing the World Through a Biblical Lens by exploring one of the most foundational questions of the Christian faith:
Why can we trust the Bible?
Drawing from Psalm 19 and 2 Timothy 3, this sermon examines how God has revealed Himself through creation, through the prophets, through Jesus Christ, and ultimately through the written Scriptures. Together, we discover that the Bible is not simply a collection of religious writings—it is God’s intentional revelation to humanity.
The Scriptures are described as:
- Perfect
- Trustworthy
- Right
- Pure
- True
- Life-giving
God’s Word does more than inform us—it transforms us. It revives the soul, gives wisdom, brings clarity, warns us of danger, and points us to our need for a Savior.
In This Sermon
You’ll discover:
- What the Bible says about itself
- How God reveals Himself to mankind
- Why Scripture remains trustworthy and relevant
- The difference between general revelation and special revelation
- How God’s Word guides every area of life
- Why humanity ultimately needs a Redeemer, not just rules
- How the Holy Spirit uses Scripture to transform hearts
