Spicewood Baptist Church is a Christ-centered community of believers rooted in the heart of Spicewood, Texas. Since 1908, we have faithfully gathered with one enduring purpose: to know Jesus Christ deeply and to make Him known boldly—in our lives, our community, and throughout the world.
Our vision flows from a firm belief that the Gospel of Jesus Christ has the power to transform lives, families, and communities. For more than a century, God has sustained this church as a place where faith is nurtured, truth is proclaimed, and people are loved well.
We believe that our purpose is to be a conduit of the transforming grace of God, towards one another, in this community and throughout the world. We accomplish this through the clear proclamation of the Good News of Jesus and the Salvation He offers; through the teaching and preaching of the Bible as the Word of God; through outreach and care ministries in our community; and through U.S. and global missions.
We hope that we are a warm and accepting place where all who desire to know Him can come for Worship, Learning and Growing in our Faith. You are welcome to join us at any of our services throughout the week and on Sundays.

How We Live Out Our Vision
We pursue our vision through four core commitments:
Proclaiming the Gospel
We boldly and lovingly share the message of Jesus Christ, believing He is the only hope for the world.
Teaching the Word of God
We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God and are committed to teaching it clearly, faithfully, and practically for everyday life.
Serving Through Care and Outreach
We seek to reflect Christ’s love through hands-on service—meeting spiritual, emotional, and practical needs within our church and community.
Engaging in Missions
From local outreach to global partnerships, we are committed to making disciples and supporting Gospel work both in the United States and around the world.
