Family Care
Serving Our Families & Yours
Our Purpose
The purpose of Family Care Ministry is to be proclaimers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, by making disciples and vibrant church members.
Our Vison
The 5-year goal of the Spicewood Baptist Church Family Care Ministry is to have a ministry structure in place that can operate efficiently using anyone associated with the ministry. Employing that methodology, we are not limited by any loss of service by any one person. In this manner, we have a template that allows us to walk with them and transparently serve the needs of the members of Spicewood Baptist Church, as they navigate life’s challenges.
Our Mission
The goal of Family Care Ministry is to serve the congregation of Spicewood Baptist Church by primarily meeting their physical and prayer needs in times of need. We measure this by constant communication with the person(s) who have the need, adjusting as needed to fully meet their requests.

Continuous Improvement
This ministry includes more than pastoral care—it involves trained volunteers who serve through meal teams, hospital and home visits, grief support, practical assistance, prayer, and ongoing encouragement. Through organized systems and thoughtful follow-up, we work to ensure that every need is seen, every request is handled with care, and no one walks through life alone.
Our goal is to build a network of support that connects people with the right resources while strengthening relationships within the church. By bearing one another’s burdens and expressing God’s love in tangible ways, our Care Ministry helps us live out the heart of the gospel together.
