At the Lake Victor Baptist Church (LVBC) on Saturday July 25 at 8:00A which we will meet in the SBC parking lot at 6:45A, and depart at 7:00A sharp! We can caravan there in our own cars or some can ride with others as they feel safe. The directions are as follows: Take Hwy 281 north thru Burnet; turn right on FM Rd 2340 (approx. 8 mi. north of the last traffic light in Burnet/at school): go approx. 2.8mi. and LVBC is on your left just before the intersection with Cnty Rd. 206. It is 40 mi. from SBC to LVBC and takes approx. 50 min. to drive(less than a drive to Austiin).
We have another opportunity to shoot guns after the breakfast in Lake Victor that Pastor John set up for us. A rancher about 6 mi. down the road from the church has a dug out tank with a large berm behind it he said we could use to fire our guns into. We would have to be extremely SAFE, maybe by only allowing 2 – 3 at a time to shoot, then alternate out. I will bring some targets and a plywood back stop, and we can still have some fun. So those of you attending the breakfast that have guns you would like to sight in or just shoot for fun, bring them and your ammo with you.
