Sunday School at Spicewood Baptist Church is defined as the foundational strategy for leading people to faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and for building on-mission Christians through open bible study programs that engage people in worship, evangelism, discipleship, ministry and fellowship. Our commission comes from God's Holy Word in Matthew 28:18-20..........Jesus said
All authority in heaven and earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciple's of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m. every Sunday. We'd love to have you as our guest.
At Spicewood Baptist Church we offer Sunday School classes for all ages. Our Sunday School / small group Bible study ministry is foundational to all that we do as a church. We believe Bible study is important for everyone, and that the scriptures are the one true source for finding real meaning and guidance in life. We encourage all members to be involved in a small group Bible study during our Sunday morning worship hours. Our teachers and leaders are passionate about teaching the scriptures and are trained to use age appropriate methods and materials to teach the scriptures and share the love of Jesus.
Our small groups also function as a care and ministry arm of our church by providing encouragement, support and accountability within their circle of friendship and fellowship. These small, intimate settings offer a chance for people to discuss and share with one another how the scriptures are impacting their lives. Our Sunday school is also a place where folks encourage and support one another as they walk through various life situations together. We believe the relationships that form in these small groups are vital to a Christian's spiritual life. Above all, our Sunday School teachers and leaders desire for men, women, boys, and girls to learn about Jesus Christ and to begin the wonderful journey of a personal relationship with Him.
